F is for...

... FOXY LADY! I adore this fox-inspired clamp bracelet by Moss Mills.

But if you have a bit of a Mr Ed fetish, you can always go for this one...

Erotiture

This guy came over to my place last weekend and he couldn't stop staring at my tits... he could have just said he wanted a drink!

Back to school

There's something about white plimsolls that I love. It's simple, clean and goes with anything. I think it also makes me feel young again. I recently bought a pair of Shu Long, an old school Chinese brand with over 50 years of history worn by people as diverse as shaolin monks to construction workers to school kids. I bought it for 180 kuai (US$26) which I already thought was a ridiculous price until I saw them selling for more than twice that price on the website. Apparently people in Europe are going nuts over it! Suckers!

Rainbow in the Bronx

This, my friends, is coordination. The pieces worn separately, they might have looked like dorks. Put together, shazam!

Butterrific!

Davi, this one's for you.

Lap of Luxury

Hmmm this gives the term 'lap of luxury' a whole new meaning. Trust the Japanese to come up with a cushion shaped like a submissive prostitute's lap. A penis-shaped bolster is in order.

MUTO

My God, this wall-painted animation by BLU blew my socks off! It's fucking amazing.

Working Girl

These cute yet bad ass accessories are from the Working Girl collection of Office Tramp, a jewellery line started by Gina Valdez. Melanie Griffith should have worn them 20 years ago in Working Girl, would have distracted from her awful hairstyle...

Left Left Left Right Left

In the Left Right Project, adidas worked together with artists from the West Coast and the East Coast - Surface to Air vs. Upper Playground’s Sam Flores. Each was given free rein to paint a 15-foot Superstar sneaker. The artists converged in Venice Beach for the showdown. Very cool project.

This is crack!

My 3 'S' theory applies to tech gadgets too... I am liking the look of the new Crackberry Bold!

SSS

I love this tunic dress by Alexander McQueen. It passes my 3 'S' test: simple, stylish and sexy.

The world's best event organisers

I went to Pangea Day in Shanghai last weekend and watched this documentary called 'A state of mind', about the mass games in North Korea... it's the most amazing huge scale choreographed event I have ever seen. Damnnnn, these people know dedication!

what if....

I often wonder what I would buy first if I came into possession of a large sum of money... I think I may have found the answer. I would buy a painting from the fabulous Jose Parla...

and fill my house with prints of my favourite photographer/friend, Davi Russo...

Now I just need to get the blueprint of a bank... Not a China one though, I would have problems carrying around so many $100 bills.

Woodie

Wood

Break a leg

Planet B-Boy is a documentary about b-boying, better known as breakdancing. Taking you to Osaka, Seoul, Paris and Las Vegas, it documents the journeys of b-boys from around the world who come together in Germany to vie for the title of World Champion. Dope.

The New Grand Tour

2 days ago, I went to Beijing for the New Grand Tour by Diesel. The New Grand Tour is an episodic art project featuring revolving guest artists with hyphenated cultural and geographical backgrounds. The artists and documentary crew travel together to different parts of the globe and express through art exhibitions the subject matter of the towns and cultures they visit. The China episode features Suitman, Jose Parla, Deanne Cheuk, Rostarr and Davi Russo.

The show was fucking awesome. Mark Foster and Rey Parla are putting together a documentary on this extraordinary adventure. Thanks for letting me be a part of the experience.

Kicking up the 80s

A collaboration between my friend Gio Chiappetta and British Knights comes the Purple Wizard Moccasin. The 80s are back with a vengeance! Woohooo!

My Favourite Things

Man I really dig Transformers and the WWF and Criss Cross and Smucker's Goober Grape Peanut Butter. If only there was a piece of clothing that could encapsulate all of this... oh wait, I think this is IT! Dang!

On tip toe

Grab your seat

This took my breath away. Designed by Victor Aleman, it is the most perfect lounge around, read, talk shit seating device I have ever seen. I bet it's comfortable too. Now I just need to find myself a loft to put it.

Cocaine comes separately

Wow, they're starting to make all sorts of jewellery to aid you in your cocaine addiction. Cut, scoop, snort. Repeat.

A fisherman's delight

S.N.S Herning is a Danish company that started out in 1899 making woollen sweaters for fishermen to bear the rough weather at sea. Sweaters are still crafted in the same old manner using the original machines. They look timeless and well made. Now this is what I call an investment.

P.S. They haven't changed their logo since day 1. I love it!

She tries to be Westernised but her roots are still Asian...

Nuts and Choc

Don't know what to give your boyfriend for Valentine's Day? Tool kit, chocolate, tool kit, chocolate?? Fret no more, you can give them both... now which guy wouldn't like a chocolate spanner?

Timber!

It's been ten years since Coldcut and Hexstatic released this classic audiovisual piece. It's still fucking awesome.

The Importance of Haircuts

Spanish actor Javier Bardem plays the fucking-scary-as-shit-with-mushroom-haircut villain who uses a captive bolt pistol in the Coen brothers' new critically-acclaimed film, No Country for Old Men.

This is him sans mushroom haircut. What a difference a haircut makes.

My First Crush

Damn. This brought a smile to my face. If you think about it, the fate of crushes are already predestined in its name... i.e. a crushed heart. Cynics unite.

Suckers!

I am somewhat of a skeptic when it comes to giveaways. And then came along the Matter Box. It's a box of cool stuff from brands... stuff that you might actually want to keep. There is now a new standard in free shit. Aiiiiiight.

Suck hard on your lollipop...

Mika worked with Bonzom, a group of 5 French animators, to produce this spectacular music video. Very Willy Wonka.

The Weakest Link

I was at a party recently and I saw two guys wearing the venetian blind shades made popular by Mr Kanye West. Such a fine line (ahem) between dumb ass and fashion victim.

Last Call for Koala Lai... Koala Lai

Koala has returned to his root(s). It was a night of drunken debauchery and rapturous laughter. So begins the mass exodus from Hong Kong. Bye bye Koala.

Striper

Not only does he mix music, he mixes stripes too. And he's good at both! I hear he likes to shop too... Forget it ladies... he's spoken for.

Skating up the wall

The Helping Hounds of Hell is a kickass charity event consisting of two handmade skateboard art exhibitions in Berlin. 100 boards were given out to more than 30 international artists to be painted. This shit is money.
