My good friends, Quan and Shanthi, gave me a great Christmas present last night. 2 volumes on how fashion has evolved from the 18th to the 20th century! An amazing journey of fabrics, patterns, designs put together by the Kyoto Costume Institute who firmly believes that clothing is an essential manifestation of our very being. Word.

Remember when we went to the musuem in Kyoto, the kiminos from past centuries.. that was the best part of the musuem i reckon.
